It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pauline J. Hooper of Morris Plains, New Jersey, born in Bloomfield, New Jersey, who passed away on February 10, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Peterkin and Caroline Peterkin; her husband John F. Hooper; and her children, Denise Hooper and John F. Hooper.

She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Clayton (Jim) of Louisville, KY, Cheryl Mondello Higinbotham (Jon) of Chester, NJ and Lynn Wrede (Tim) of Andover, NJ; her daughter-in-law Janine Myer; her sister Betty Gerstenmaier of Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Christopher Mondello, Grace Higinbotham (Joey), Tara Wojcik (Ross), Erin Clayton (Jon), Megan Gallo (Gerry), Kelly Mangold (Bart), Shawn Westra (Jordan) and Andrew Wrede (Jenni); and her great grandchildren, Ella Clayton, Anni-Rey, Robey Gallo, Cece Mangold, Kamden Higinbotham, Jaxon Wrede and Cooper Wrede. She is also survived by four nieces and two nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dangler Funeral Home (600 Speedwell Ave, Morris Plains, NJ 07950). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Virgil's Church (250 Speedwell Ave, Morris Plains, NJ 07950). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 S Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
