He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Goginsky (Jagodzienski) and Michaelena Goginsky (Dinoski); his son Joseph; and his siblings, Thomas, Raymond, Joseph (Pete), William, Maryann, Helen, Antoinette, Audrey and Bernadine.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Daria, Alesia, John Jr. (Grace) and Tricia (Keir); his granddaughter Melissa Carter (Brad); his great grandchild Chloe Carter; and his sisters, Sylvia Severnak, Gloria O'Brien (Bill) and Marcella Roberts (Dave). He is also survived by friends, neighbors, and by his friends.
A wake was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dangler Funeral Home (600 Speedwell Ave, Morris Plains, NJ 07950). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Virgil's Church (250 Speedwell Ave, Morris Plains, NJ 07950). A burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
