He was predeceased by: his son Jason Jacobs; and his parents, James Jacobs and Annette Guttenberg Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Jacobs; his son Seth Jacobs; his daughters-in-law, Jeanne Jacobs and Jennifer Jacobs Deutsch; his stepchildren, Karin Cabarle and Kenneth Cabarle; his stepdaughter-in-law Carla Cabarle; his grandchildren, Zoe, Jacqueline, Kevin, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Cassidy, Bryce, Grace and Jordan; and his great grandchildren, Liam and Austin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations to be made in Charlie's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
