She was predeceased by: her husband Dulari L. Sawhney; her parents, Laxmi Chand Kohli and Kamlesh Kohli; and her siblings, Deep Chand Kohli, Chanda Suri of New Zealand, Vinod Bhasin of India, Poonam Chadha of Canada and Dr. Chander Mohan Kohli of India.
She is survived by: her children, Paras Sawhney of Morris Plains, NJ and Mille Sawhney (John MacGregor) of Chatham, NJ; and her grandchildren, Rooney John, Nora Anu and Dulari "Rae" MacGregor.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Puja Funeral Service (408 Orange Rd, Montclair, NJ 07042).
