He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynda Massey (Larson) and George W. Massey II; his daughter Monica Marie; and his siblings, Pat Pease, Bobbie Monahan, Francis "Kitchie" Massey and Tommy Massey.

He is survived by: his wife Gee; and his sister Joan. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
