He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Vargas (Farapan); his father Maximino Vargas; and his sister Ana M. Vargas. He is survived by: his mother Haydee Vargas (Rivera); his children, Donna Riopel of Morganville, Michael Vargas (Heidi) of East Brunswick, Julia Wick (Paul) of Cranberry Township, PA and Michelle Akin (Justin) of Tinton Falls; his grandchildren, Dallas, Raeann, Richard, Alana, Olivia, Sophia and Amelia; and his siblings, Margie A. Perez, Luis Vargas, Max Vargas (Mary), Elba Vargas, Raul Vargas, Eddie Vargas, Gloria E. Rosado (Fred) and Roberto Vargas.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crabiel Home For Funerals (170 N Main St, Milltown, NJ 08850).
