She was predeceased by: her father Richard Kimmerer; and her brother Dana Kimmerer. She is survived by: her children, Mark Andrew (Stephanie), Justine Elise, Christopher Michael and Nicholas Ryan; her mother Dorothy Kimmerer; her grandson Mason James; and also Matt Presser.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Freehold Animal Hospital or the Old Bridge Animal Shelter or The Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Dawn's memory.
