Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Stephen leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred "Millie" Garner and Lemuel Norrell. He is survived by: his brothers, David, Greg and Patrick; and his daughters, Jesse and Kimmy.
A memorial service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the C. C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home (306 E Ridgewood Ave, Ridgewood, NJ 07450).
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Stephen M. Norrell Trombone Award Fund at the University of Georgia.
