He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. McLaughlin, Sr. and Lillian McLaughlin; and his stepmother Anna McLaughlin. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Robert E. McLaughlin, III (Martina), Susan Rayfield (William) and Richard McLaughlin (Tina); his grandchildren, Robert E. McLaughlin, IV, Marcella McLaughlin, Lauren Mingee (Jeff), Kaylan Long (Adam), Meg McLaughlin and Ryan McLaughlin; and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Carter Mingee and Luna Long.
