He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Patunas and Evangeline Patunas; his wife Ann C. "Cookie" Patunas; his son Michael Patunas (Jill); and his brother George Patunas.
He is survived by: his children, Marie Elena Patunas-Rubin (Richard), Melissa Matos (Joe) and Matthew Patunas (Christina); and his siblings, Chris Patunas (Suzanne) and Kay Eakin (Robert). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
