He is survived by: his wife Mary C.; his children, Walter Joseph Jr. (Jennifer), Aileen O'Hara (Thomas) and Dodi Yobs (Rich); his grandchildren, Kristen Casey (Mike), Andrew Yobs (Virginia), Peter Yobs, Timothy Yobs and Benjamin Joseph Kamienski; and his great grandchildren, Alaina and Mya Casey.
