He is survived by: his wife Lois Bednar (White); his children, Joseph (Debbie), Matthew, Patricia Gonzalez, Gary, John, Mary Del Vecchio (Christian) and Maureen Laverty (Kenny Zaun); his grandchildren, Parker (Madison), Christina Gonzalez, Shauen Laverty (Lindsey), Amanda Colucci and Alexander (Brendan); his great grandchildren, Frankie Chiocca, Macy Gonzalez and Lucian Gonzalez; his sister Marion Bentley; and his sister-in-law Mary Lou Bednar.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Matt's name St. Jude Children's Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
