He was predeceased by: his brother Hugh Whelan. He is survived by: his children, Michael, Deborah and Kenneth; his grandchildren, Isabella, Anthony, Ethan and Desmond; and his siblings, Kevin, Winifred and Catherine. He is also survived by his daughters in law, son in law, and his nieces and nephews.
