With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Rankell Farkas of Montville, New Jersey, born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on October 3, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her fathers, Arthur Rankell and Paul Lenny Lubin; her children, Daniel and Marieka; her grandchildren, Eliana, Ezekiel, Samuel and Benjamin; and her sister Verna.

“I met Irene volunteering at Chilton Medical Center. We were immediately compatible friends. On February 3rd 2021 we received our second Covid19 vaccine, we were so hopeful it would all be over soon. Then on the 10th she called with her shocking diagnosis and now 8 months later, she is gone. So strong, knowledgeable, decisive but always so pleasant and upbeat to be with. I’ll never forget you, rest in peace my friend. With love and sympathy to her family and friends. Faye Culver”
