It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter P O'Brien of Montclair, New Jersey, who passed away on January 14, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Milly (Sharkey); his children, Elizabeth (Robert Flanagan) of Bethesda, MD, Walter P. O'Brien, Jr. (Linda Jaye Molee) of Freehold, NJ, Gerard (Melinda) of Easton, CT, Sheila (Peter Flanagan) of Chevy Chase, MD, Paul (Mary) of Madison, NJ, Marie Seton of Manhattan, NY and Sarah (Jeff Boyd) of Wilmette, IL; his siblings, James (Peggie), Rosemary McCormack and Alfred; and his parent Irish. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Cassian Catholic Church or the Alzheimer's Association (in honor of Milly O'Brien).
