It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth H. Fitzgerald of Montclair, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Hamilton and Maude Hamilton (Johnson); her husbands, James E. Williams and John R. Fitzgerald; her siblings, Elsie, Freddie, Allen, Phyllis and Timmy; and her granddaughter Sharon L. Foye.
She is survived by: her son James A.; her daughter-in-law Michele L. Williams; her daughter Janet W. Byard; her grandson Jason F. Williams; and her great grandchild Matthew James Williams. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
