She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth E. Newsome, Sr. and Flora Mae Newsome; and her siblings, Julia Owens, Pamela Peniston and Kenneth E Newsome.
She is survived by: her daughters, Renee Foster and Larissa Morris; her sons-in-law, Anthony Foster and Eugene Morris; her grandchildren, Jalen Morris, Jordan Morris, Justin Morris and Noah Foster; and her nieces and nephews, Dawn Owens, Kristin Peniston, Candice Marinaro, Damon Owens, Michael Peniston and Rodney Lawrence. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
