We bid farewell to Matthew E. Dziekowski in Montclair, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 30, 2025 at the age of 100. Matthew touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Dziekowski and Caroline Dziekowski (Cugan); his wife Dorothy Dziekowski; his brothers, Edward Dziekowski and Stanley Dziekowski; his children, Stephen Dziekowski, Jane Sabelli, Robert P. McGuire and Kathleen McGuire; his son-in-law James Musillo; and also Frank Sabelli.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Musillo of Red Bank, Nancy Stroud of Glen Ridge, John J. McGuire (Maureen McGuire) of Toms River and David McGuire of Toms River; and his daughter-in-law Carol Dziekowski of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Day Funeral Home (361 Maple Pl, Keyport, NJ 07735). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
