She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Narcis Hospedales and Catherine Hospedales; her spouse Colvin S. Banfield; her children, Darelle and Sherwin Banfield; her grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Layla and Amina; her siblings, Lorna, Annette, Sydney, Cynthia and Knolly; her in-laws, Sandra Marcano, Carl, Claudia, Ian, Denise and Lennox; her goddaughter Akua Degannes; and her nieces and nephews, Consuelo, Alicia, Ria, Sonia, Ian Adelina, Carla, Dain, Delano, Simone, Arlene, Carlos, Chelsea and Sophia.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Shook Funeral Home (639 Van Houten Ave, Clifton, NJ 07013). A Mass was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jesus RC Church (200 Midland Ave, East Orange, NJ 07017).
