He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward and Esther; his sister Gloria Azarian; and his nephew Edward Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen McEvoy; his daughter Kristin (Nick Wilson); his siblings, Theresa Cicchelli (Jerry), Sonia Hairabedian and George Hairabedian; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Alexander (Harvey) and Kevin McEvoy; his niece Laura Cicchelli; and his nephews, John Cicchelli (Andrea) and Brian Alexander (Mahua).
