He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Stehli and Emilie Stehli (Greenough); his wife Irene Elizabeth Comfort; and his sister Nancy Knoerzer. He is survived by: his sister Emilie Anne Stehli Knoerzer (Nancy); his stepdaughter Anne Comfort Stehli; his children, Frank, Irene, Dean of Graduate Studies, Anne Stehli-Clouser (Sidney) of Chardon, Robert (Marie) of Mantua, John of Hambden and Edgar (Kimberly) of Broadview Heights; his grandsons, Benjamin Clouser (Chicago) and Martin Stehli; and also Robert Comfort Stehli.
