She was predeceased by: her parents, Mac Pittman Jr. and Mattie Mae Pitman. She is survived by: her husband Roosevelt Smith; and her children, Larry of Louisiana, Darren of North Carolina and Erica of New Jersey. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 sister-in-laws, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
