With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Joseph O'Connell in Montclair, New Jersey, born in Boston, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome O'Connell and Nora O'Connell; and his siblings, Katherine, Helen, William, Marie, John, Louise, Ann and Patricia.
He is survived by: his wife Angela Duddy O'Connell; his grandchildren, Danny Hart, Ginny Maurandy, Evelyne Maurandy, Brendan Eastman, Emmett Eastman, James O'Connell and Catherine O'Connell; and his siblings, Charles O'Connell, Claire O'Connell and Elizabeth Collins. He is also survived by four children, their spouses and seven grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Caggiano Memorial (62 Grove St, Montclair, NJ 07042). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church - Montclair (30 N Fullerton Ave, Montclair, NJ 07042).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Autism Society of Maryland.
