He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Apolito and Antonia Apolito; and his siblings, Armando, Ettore, Ugo Apolito and Livia Mottola.
He is survived by: his wife Norma; his sons, Marcello Apolito, Alessandro A. Apolito (Lauren) and Fabio Apolito (Mariah); his grandchildren, Ruby, Vincenzo, Valentino and Massimo; and his siblings, Olga Lancellotti and Antonio Apolito (Antonietta). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their children.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Mental Health Association of New Jersey, Inc. or UNICO National.
