It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert J. Tallman of Monroe Township, New Jersey, born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother William A. Tallman. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Tallman of Monroe Township; his children, Glenn Tallman (Kim), Michele Maley and Danielle Shatraw (Curt); and his stepchildren, Patrick Reagan (Diane), Michael Reagan (Natalie) and Colleen Jones (Tony). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home Inc. (205 Rhode Hall Rd, Monroe Township, NJ 08831). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Nativity of Our Lord RC Church (185 Applegarth Rd, Monroe Township, NJ 08831). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Holy Cross Burial Park (840 Cranbury - South River Rd, Jamesburg, NJ 08831).

“I was saddened to hear about Bobs passing. I worked with him for many years at Princeton, mostly on midnight shift. He was always a man of God and we spoke so many times about more than just work. He will be missed. He offered so much advice to me on a myriad of subjects and I grew close to Bob. I hope his family knows that he made a huge difference in so many lives at Princeton, including mine. I know he walks with the Lord as he helped me many times in my faith journey! Don Reichling”
