He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Monello and Rose Monello (Beluso); his brother Frank Monello; his sister-in-law Inez Monello; his sister Lucille Guadagno (Monello); his brother-in-law Richard Guadagno; his parents-in-law, Mario Nicolosi and Angelina Nicolosi (Chiachiaro); his siblings-in-law, Leonard Nicolosi, Angela Baker (Nicolosi) and John Baker; and his niece Maria Monello.

He is survived by: his wife Maryann Monello (Nicolosi); his children, Roseann Monello Koval (Jeff Koval), Lisa Ann Monello, Nicole Monello Ballerini (Stephen Ballerini) and Nick Salvatore Monello (Maria Bellantonio Monello); and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Koval (Sierra Stroker), Alexander Koval (Sabrina Nicoletti), Chloe Gonzalez, Ava Gonzalez, John Ballerini, Lucas Monello, Vincent Monello and Alessandra Monello.
