He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Comparato and Providenzia Comparato; his brothers, Sam, Frank and Anthony Comparato; his sisters-in-law, Katherine and Josephine Comparato; and his son-in-law Glenn Robinson.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Comparato; his daughters, Ann Marie Cimiluca and Lisa Robinson; his son-in-law Andrew Cimiluca; his grandchildren, Nicole (Joel Heavner), Gabrielle (Frank DiFranco), Alex (Sara Cimiluca), Samantha Robinson and Alexandra Robinson; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Lia, Francesca and Andrew; his sister-in-law Thelma Comparato; his nieces, Diane Parillo, JoAnn Campisano and Doreen DeMartino; and his nephew Joseph Comparato.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lester Memorial (16 W Church St, Jamesburg, NJ 08831). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM. An entombment was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Burial Park (840 Cranbury - South River Rd, Monroe Township, NJ 08831).
