As Joseph departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joseph leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Grace Tagliarini; and his son-in-law David Howarth. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathryn Howarth, Nancy Heyman, Mary Jo Porterfield (Walter), Lynne Sweat and Laurie Ann Gibbons (John); and his son-in-law Larry Heyman. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gleason Funeral Home (1360 Hamilton St, Somerset, NJ 08873). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church (198 Sandford St, New Brunswick, NJ 08902).
