She was predeceased by: her parents, Raynor Gundersen and Nancy Gundersen; her brother Raynor Gundersen; and her brother-in-law Salvatore Scoglio. She is survived by: her husband Robert Osak; her son Michael Osak of California; and her sister Karen Scoglio of Metuchen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home - Metuchen (568 Middlesex Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hillside Cemetery (52 Lincoln Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840).
In lieu of flowers, it was Janet's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of donations to your charity of choice.
