He was predeceased by: his brother Kenneth Rudin; and his nephew Ira Rudin (Shana Rudnitsky). He is survived by: his wife Shana; his fiancée Ann Fried; his children, Jennifer Haftel (Ben) and Daniel Rudnitsky (Jennifer); his grandsons, Jeremy, Joshua and Jack Haftel; his sister-in-law Arlene Rudin; his nieces, Beth Kirchgesser, Julia and Amanda; and his nephew Seth.
