He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor G. Comeau and Helen B. Comeau (Melanson); his stepmother Leona "Nonie" Comeau (Surette); his brother Gary; his stepgrandchildren, Steven Jr. Harris (Jacqueline) and Stephanie French (Richard); and also Jordan Morgan (Angela).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Comeau (Walder); his siblings, Jerry Van Tassel (Sharon), Anne Pothier (Ron), Brian Comeau (Angela) of Halifax, Mark Comeau of Digby, Judy Comeau (Chuck Henderson) of Fredericton and New Brunswick; his grandchildren, Neil McBurney, Tessa McBurney (Matthew Fredericks), Cody (Toni Pfeffer) and Cassidy Peck; his great grandchildren, Regan Andrews (Tyler Cleaves), Aadya Mugford, Akoa McBurney, Olivia Taylor (Cody VanTassel), Emma and Darrell Jefferson; his sister-in-law Linda (Robert Braun) of Austin; his nephews, Stephen Braun of Chicago and Daniel Braun (Suzanne) of Austin; and his great-niece Avery Braun.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital – http://www.stjude.org.., a cause that was close to Carl's heart.
