She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Shoemaker Sr. and Blanche Shoemaker (Spangenburg); her daughter Valerie Piotrowsky; and her siblings, Mildred Ochse, Margaret Milewski, Joseph Shoemaker Jr. and Howard Shoemaker.

She is survived by: her husband George S. Allen Jr.; her daughters, Gerri Lynn Calvin of Harmony, NJ and Sharon Fults of Houston, TX; her stepchildren, George S. Allen III of Monroe Twp, NJ and Sandy Gabauer of Langhorne, PA.; and her sister Shirley J. Beene of Green Valley, AZ. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren.
