He was predeceased by: his parents, Eduardo Zuniga and Augustina Arias; and his sister Rina Zuniga. He is survived by: his wife Maria Arias (Amalia); his children, Elky Zelaya (Alexis), Mayra Arias, Dino Arias (Damaris) and Roger Arias; his stepson Guillermo Urbina; his siblings, Rodimiro Zuniga and Norma Arias; his grandchildren, Lidia Pineda-Arias, Alexandre Zelaya, Andre Zelaya, Dino Andre Arias, Roger Dariel Arias and Jeffrey Arias; and his great grandchild Cataleya Saravia.
