He was predeceased by: his parents, Luigi Scurato and Santulella Scurato (Burrelli); his wife Katherine M. Scurato; and his siblings, Salvatore, Anthony, Donald, Joseph, Thomas, Frank Scurato, Ida Leonhardt and Theresa Kish.
He is survived by: his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Amira Scurato; his daughter Kathy Ann Bailey; his grandchildren, Morgan Lee, Brandon Reed Bailey, Nicholas and Katherine Scurato; his siblings, Blase Scurato and Immaculata Csontos; and his sisters-in-law, Tess and Theresa Scurato.
