He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony M. Santowasso and Catherine Santowasso (Klaus); and his brother-in-law Michael J. Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Susan (Gardner); his children, Tony (Cyndi Santowasso), Renee (Stuart Parks), Brett (Christina Santowasso), Diana (David Sanger) and Alisa (Daniel Mullen); his sisters, Katherine Murphy and Jane (Raynor Shimoda); and his grandchildren, Aaron, Zach, Heather, Jacquelin, Megan, Billy, Dennis, Kevin, Julianna, Kendrick, Nicolena, Kailyn, Josephina, Casey, Francesca, Brianna and Jack. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the M. J. Murphy Funeral Home (616 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Cecilia's Church (10 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852).
