He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Coyle (Peggy). He is survived by: his children, Anthony (Diane), Annemarie, Kathleen (Richard) and James (Val); his grandchildren, Christopher, Megan, Michael, Katy, Jenny, David, Dale, Mark and Kelly; and also, Dani, Barrett, Maisie, Oliver, Sean, Ender and James.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the NJ Veterans Home at Menlo Park.
