We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2024, at the age of 77, William Perry Sumas of Monmouth Beach, New Jersey, born in South Orange, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Greek; his wife Patricia Walsh-Sumas; his children, Abbey Sumas (Joseph Melnyk), William D. Sumas (Jade Direnfeld) and Phoebe Long (Brian Long); his grandchildren, Remi and Theodore Melnyk; his siblings, John Sumas (Nancy Sumas), Linda Blatt and Patricia Anagnostis (Gregory Anagnostis); his father Perry Sumas; and also Olga Sumas.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer center, in loving memory of William Perry Sumas.
