It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Owen Patrick Layden of Monmouth Beach, New Jersey, born in Hartshorne, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 2, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Layden and Hazel Layden (Harbert); his siblings, Kathleen (Carl), Walter (Virginia), John (June), Jim (Mary), Ted (Rosemary), Bill (Gisela) and Bob (Yvonne); and his brother-in-law Alex Siman.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Layden (Ciszeski); his daughters, Sandra Rendell (George), Janet Forsyth (Larry) and Linda Curran (Scott); his grandchildren, Jordan, Margaret, Sam, Rebecca, Jack and Marin; and his sister Mary E Layden.
