With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James T. Rhode of Monmouth Beach, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on July 1, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rhode and Catherine Rhode (Lowery); and his children, Kathleen Wilson, Kevin and Michael Rhode.

He is survived by: his wife Frances "Mickey"; his grandchildren, Dylan and Hunter Rhode; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Short (Dennis) and Will Ryan; and also, Christine Rhode, Luke Short (Jenna Glendye) and Finnegan.
