He is survived by: his son Phillip D'Ottavio Jr of Escondito; and his siblings, John D'Ottavio (Skeets), Nick D'Ottavio (Cindy) of Hackettstown, Victor D'Ottavio of Tuscaloosa, Bill D'Ottavio of Pelham and Donna Scarnulis of Saylorsburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
