He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Wood and Ketura Sipps Wood; his wife Betty Jane Wood; and his children, Gilbert Nicholas, Linda Cole and Richard Nicholas.
He is survived by: his children, William Nicholas "Betty Ann" of Millville, Jeannie Moris (Ivan) of Vineland, Michael Nicholas (Marianne) of Richland, Kathy Keller of Millville, Edward Nicholas (Tracy) of Pittsgrove Twp, Nancy Purty (Doug) and Betty Jane Nicholas.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Padgett Funeral Home (1107 NJ-77, Bridgeton, NJ 08302). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greenwood Memorial Park E. Broad.
