He was predeceased by: his parents, George Coats and Ethel Gray; and his sister Phyllis Roode. He is survived by: his wife Carol Coats; his children, Tammy Aguirre (Manny), Erik Huntelman (Stephanie) and Audrey Karcher (Jesse, Jr.); his sister Nadine Mayhew (Edward); and his nephew Justin Roode. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
