He was predeceased by: his parents, Solomon Kane and Rose Kane. He is survived by: his wife Carol J. Kane; his sons, Matthew Kane (Carolyn), Daniel Kane (Stacey) and Saul Kane (Anna); his brother David Kane (Christy); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Emily and Joshua. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
