He was predeceased by: his wife Alice; his parents, James Cox and Alinda Cox; his siblings, Robert, Roy Cox and Martha "Dot" Smith; his friend Marvin Myers; and his pet Stinker.
He is survived by: his daughter Christine Tardif (Michael); his granddaughter Pauline Tardif; his children, Tina Swoger (Kenny) and Norman Harshfield; and his sister Rosemary Henderson. He is also survived by many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends.
