As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Daniel may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James McDowell and Amy McDowell (Jones); and his son-in-law Mark Hassen. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte V. McDowell (Mason); his children, Terry Lesh (Steven) of Fairfield Twp, Lisa Hassen of Franklin Twp and James McDowell; and his pet Bonnie. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christy Funeral Home (11 W Broad St, Millville, NJ 08332). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (601 W Main St, Millville, NJ 08332).
