He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Layton. He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Layton; his grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, Andrew and Samantha Layton; and his brother-in-law Julian "Junior" Gurdgiel.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Union Cemetery South Dennis.
