He was loved and cherished by many people including: his granddaughter Ariella Hopkins; his wife Corinne Hopkins; his son Robert "Bobby"; his daughter-in-law Lisa Hopkins; his daughter Lisa Mehr; and his grandchildren, Kenny Mehr, Alexa Blaes and Emily Hopkins.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks memorial donations be made to the Sons of the American Legion Post #25, Ariella Hopkins Fund, 4 JFK Drive, Milltown, NJ 08850.
