Joy M. Ligotti Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joy M. Ligotti of Milltown, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2024 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Joy's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Joy has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her father Martin Friedman. She is survived by: her husband Nicholas Ligotti; her daughters, Marissa Visokay (Bill) of Spotswood and Elizabeth Ligotti of Helmetta; her mother Terry Friedman (Bronsnick) of Old Bridge; her brother Mark Friedman (Debbie) of Westfield; her sisters-in-law, Thomas Ligotti (Linda) of Lincroft and Rosann Abano (Sal) of Milltown; and her precious Bella. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Crabiel Home For Funerals (170 N Main St, Milltown, NJ 08850). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Elmwood Cemetery (425 Georges Rd, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902).
