The passing of Georges E. Kassas (Milltown, New Jersey) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 90. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Kassas and Eugine Yameen; his son Elie (Haifa); and his brothers, Boutros Kassas and Antoine Kassas.
He is survived by: his significant other Haifa Baroud; his family Georges; his children, Amal (Joseph El-Reyes), Nawal (Nassif Maroun), Robert (Diana) and Simon (PollyJo); and his siblings, Yousef (Therese Kassas), Badih (Rajah Kassas) and Mariam (Saleem Baroud). He is also survived by grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church (526 Easton Ave, Somerset, NJ 08873). A Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Georges name to St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church.
