He was predeceased by: his parent Gabriel Tamasy; and his sisters, Eleanor Borowski and Ruth Tauscher. He is survived by: his parent Irene Tamasy; his spouse Marilyn; his children, George Tamasy, Jr. (Gail), Lynda McLain (Sam) and Pamela Ritchey; his husband Doug of Toms River; and his grandchildren, James Tamasy, Ian, Paige and Shane Ritchey.
